Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Emission X Technologies' mobile application, website, and all related services. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By creating an account or using the Emission X application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
  • Emission X reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

2. User Responsibilities (Farmers)

  • You must provide accurate farm information, including location coordinates, field size, and crop type.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your farm is accessible and safe for drone operations on the scheduled date.
  • You must not create bookings with fraudulent intent or as a means to misuse the pilot network.
  • You agree to make payment through the platform — off-platform cash arrangements are prohibited.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any local government approvals required for drone operations on your land.

3. Pilot Responsibilities

  • Pilots must hold valid DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Certificates and maintain their drone in airworthy condition.
  • Pilots are responsible for complying with all applicable aviation regulations during every job.
  • Pilots must not accept bookings they cannot fulfil and must cancel in advance if unable to attend.
  • Pilots must not share their account credentials or allow other persons to accept jobs under their identity.
  • Service quality, professionalism, and safety are the pilot's sole responsibility on-site.

4. Payment Terms

  • All transactions are processed securely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
  • Payment is charged to farmers at the time of service confirmation.
  • Pilot payouts are processed after job completion, subject to the platform's settlement schedule.
  • Emission X charges a platform service fee, deducted from the pilot's payout.
  • Disputed payments must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date via support@emissionx.in.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Farmers may cancel a booking at no charge before a pilot has accepted the job.
  • Cancellations after pilot acceptance may incur a cancellation fee as displayed in the app.
  • Pilots who cancel accepted jobs without valid reason may have their account suspended.
  • Emission X reserves the right to cancel bookings in cases of safety concerns or technical failures.

6. Platform Limitations

  • Emission X is a marketplace platform. We facilitate connections between farmers and pilots but do not directly perform drone services.
  • We do not guarantee the availability of pilots in every area at all times.
  • The platform requires internet connectivity to function. We are not liable for outages outside our control.
  • Drone services are subject to weather, airspace restrictions, and regulatory conditions beyond our control.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Emission X is not liable for any crop damage, property damage, or personal injury arising from drone operations.
  • Pilot-farmer disputes must first be resolved through the in-app dispute mechanism before escalating.
  • Emission X's liability in any matter is limited to the transaction value of the specific booking in dispute.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Emission X name, logo, platform design, and all software are the intellectual property of Emission X Technologies.
  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without written consent.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
